    The Service Manager manages the activities of all service related staff ensuring outstanding customer service and the attainment of defined performance targets. This individual is responsible for hiring, training and the development of all service associates.  Your strong communications skills enable you to develop and maintain relationships with our manufacturer, suppliers, customers and associates.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure exceptional customer service levels are executed and maintained in a timely and professional manner that corresponds with CSI (Customer Service Index) standards.
    • Evaluate and coach employees on job performance. Developing an effective service team through proper hiring, training, and performance standards.
    • Ensure full compliance with manufacturer policies, warranties, procedures and guidelines.
    • Maintain a high level of service cleanliness, equipment repairs, and general shop appearance, while ensuring a safe working environment.
    • Plan the monthly target in conjunction with the General Manager.
    • Plan and implement seasonal and other service specials.
    • Establish and maintain active working relationships with professional and technical schools to source and recruit future service technicians.
    • Maintain awareness with and ensure compliance with Health and Safety rules and regulations.
    • Perform other specific assignments as directed by dealership management. 

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of experience in an automotive management position at a dealership 
    • Working knowledge of the Reynolds & Reynolds operating system and warranty procedures would be an asset.
    • A team leader with a commitment of exceptional customer service and customer satisfaction.
